Adding a Page

  1. Log in.
  2. Remember from the Terminology tutorial, that in Modx, pages are called Resources. I'll use the two terms interchangably in this tutorial.
  3. Click on the SITE tab at the top of the page in your manager, and then click NEW RESOURCE on the sub menu. Alternatively, you can click on the New Resource icon add resource icon above the Site Tree. Also, if you want to create a child page underneath a main parent page or other page, right-click on the Resource in your Site Tree that you want to create the page under, and click CREATE RESOURCE HERE.   4. This will bring up the Create Resource page where you can fill in the page attributes and content for the new page you are creating.
  5. Read the Page Settings tutorial to learn more about page settings.
  6. Click SAVE near the top-right part of the page to finish creating your new page.
