Backing Up Your Site

  1. Log in to your Modx manager.
  2. Click the Backup link/icon on the welcome screen or click on TOOLS tab at the top then click BACKUP.
  3. Check the box at the top next to TABLE NAME. This will automatically check all table names.
  4. Click the link that says: Click here to backup & download the selected tables
  5. Your browser will prompt you on whether to open or save the file. Save it to a location on your computer where you will be able to find it should you need it.
