Pasting Text From Microsoft Word

  1. Log in to your manager.
  2. Select a resource to edit.
  3. Scroll down to the Resource Content box. It's the one with all the icons at the top that look a bit like Microsoft Word.
  4. When you are pasting text from Microsoft Word or from another web page on the Internet (or from a pdf or other source), it's best to use the "Paste as Plain Text" paste as plain text or "Paste from Word" paste from word icons. Not doing so will add unnecessary HTML code to your page and will most likely cause a formatting nightmare.
  5. To paste text from Word, copy the text from your Word document, then go to your manager and click the "Paste from Word" icon paste from word.
  6. Paste your text into the popup window by pressing Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on a Mac) on your keyboard or by right clicking in the window and choosing paste.
  7. Click INSERT.
  8. Your text should now be nicely formatted in the Resource Content box.
  9. To paste text from a source other than Microsoft Word, follow the same steps, but click the "Paste as Plain Text" paste as plain text icon first.
