Embedding YouTube Videos

  1. First, copy the URL from YouTube.com for the video you want to place on your site.

  2. Log in to your Modx manager and click on the page in the Site Tree you wish to place the YouTube video on.
  3. In the Resource content/Text Editor box, place your mouse cursor in the exact spot in your content where you want the YouTube video to be placed.
  4. Click the INSERT EMBEDDED MEDIA icon. It looks like this: embed media icon
  5. A window will pop up. Make sure FLASH is selected in the Type dropdown menu, and paste in the YouTube video URL (address) in the File/URL field. Leave the Dimensions fields empty and click INSERT.
  6. Don't forget to SAVE the page.
